Gary Patzer is currently a Sergeant with Loveland Police Department in Loveland Colorado.
He has been a Law Enforcement Officer for 30 years. Working at both The Boulder County Sheriff’s Department for 9 years and Loveland PD for 21.
He has had varied assignments to include Detective, SWAT team member and team leader, School resource officer, and gang officer.
He is a Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certified instructor and is currently Loveland PD’s Lead Less Lethal instructor and Lead Active Shooter instructor.
During his time as a Detective with Loveland PD he worked persons and property crimes receiving commendations for his investigations.
He was also a member of the 8thJudicial District Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT).
The CIRT is a multi-agency team used to investigate critical incidents such as Officer Involved shootings and in custody deaths.
